The Council for Architectural Heritage (SAK) participates in the “European Heritage Week”, an event coordinated across Europe by the European Historic Houses Association. Private Heritage Weeks started on 2018 and continue with main objectives to raise awareness on the contribution of private owners of heritage buildings to society and promote public engagement.
Owners of historic houses around Greece have invited us in their houses and let us discover their cultural significance, understand the challenges that they face regarding their houses’ conservation as well as their contribution in the safeguarding of our heritage.
