On Monday 16 December, the “Sustainable Greek School” flag was awarded to 37 schools that completed 2 years of activity in the programme. Teachers said that the programme acts as an umbrella for all the actions they do in the school and sets a framework for promoting Sustainability through school programmes and everyday life.
In total, 170 teachers from schools all over the country were connected – from Xanthi to Rhodes, Giannina to Lesvos.
We also thanked 74 schools for their long-term commitment and continuous involvement in the programme for 3 years or more.
The message that most teachers gave: “Thank you for rewarding the flag. We will continue our action!“
